We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager for Client Servicing and Business Development to join our team at Marconix Sales Solutions team. This role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, a proven track record in client servicing and sales, and a deep understanding of the MICE industry.
Client Servicing:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Regularly assess client needs and propose tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and resolve any issues that may arise.
Business Development:
- Identify and research potential clients and market segments within the MICE industry.
- Generate new business leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the company's capabilities and offerings.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Analyze market data and insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop long-term business strategies and initiatives.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of client servicing and business development professionals.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their targets and professional growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience 5 years in client servicing and business development roles within the Event/MICE industry.
- Strong understanding of MICE event planning, logistics, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and required software.
- Leadership qualities with experience in team management and mentorship.
